I give my necromancers the ability to shoot mana blasts at range 3 (no dice) because i think it makes them cooler and more magical because i dont have dead eye walkers. Cool video bro :)

So hard to find now :/ I've amassed a fair collection of armys (from runewars to judge dredd & mars attacks), board games (from gekido to Cthulhu DMD) & other games (not to mention made a spray "booth"/man shed XD )

I use house rules where the Archer zombies also have to throw dice in order to hit the survivors. On a roll of a 4,5 or 6 they hit.

Dude, thank you so much for the info! It made me thing about getting one of those NPC boxes. Just a suggestion: The NPC box #2 characters are not very well focus during the video, maybe you can edit it so they are better shown :)

My Swordmaster: -The Survivor treats all Melee weapons as if they had the Dual symbol -Parry: When he/she equips dual identicals weapons obtains 5+ Armor. If she/he has a shield or armor re-roll once armor. The new result takes the place of the previos one.

you know a character i would want? a paladin style character... like, with a golden (or white) plate armor, a blondd hair and blue eyes, holding a sword and shield... i always loved to playh as paladin, and when i do play as one, i make him look like me, so i realy wwanted to have one guy like this in zombicide black plague

I think its a good box to have, and if you wanted to make it a little more interesting maybe make the Deadeyes have to roll for range attacks? Say like a 3 or better for hits? I think that would make it a little more reasonable

good review... Just perplexed how people don't understand zombie archers. Has anyone ever played a video game or Dungeons and dragons. Skeleton archers are like a staple. Their sole purpose is shooting enemies. DMs always sparkly add them since they pose a good threat. If you don't like the power then home rule. Lower the range or give it the same dice roll as a longbow. We are talking a zombie invasion mastered by necromancers and survivors that can cast fireballs... Skeletons who shoot arrows isnt that far fetched.

Those sets of rules are not intuitive at all. Wheneve we used them I always house rule them : Abominataur : ram survivor at first line of sight into the furtest wall for one damage. Move one zone as other walkers otherwise. Abominatroll: one activation move 2 zones. If encounter a survivor 1 zone away, must stop and pull that survivor into its zone for 1 damage. Abominablob: like Left4dead. Puke on a survivor zone 1 zone away: draw a new zombie card on the nearest zombie spawn and then activate all zombie on the board on time. Melee killing this blob has the same effect. Otherwise, attack and move normaly like basic walker.

28.22 you have the abombatour and the abombatroll on the board. the troll gets 3 actions when it moves and a hero is with in sight.

Can't wait for my box to show up in the Green Horde second wave in June! I have house ruled all zombies hit on 4+ so melee survivors aren't under powered among other things so I'm not too worried about these guys being too strong. As for people saying its too implausible for zombies to be 'intelligent' archers. Firstly the fact that they are zombies is already fictitious so that complaint is already kind of nit picky, but this is Black Plague! A fantasy zombie Apocalypse with Necromancers and dark magic! Sure Magic is a cop out explanation but I think it works here. Also they're animated Skeletons not technically zombies, they are somehow walking around without muscles, and are shooting you with pinpoint accuracy without eyes! Clearly they are controlled with some malevolent evil force like in Diablo or Skyrim. If it was Zombicide modern with zombies firing guns, yeah that would be dumb. Skeleton archers in a fantasy game? Awesome.

for passing the torche for me it's not a cheat, the rules says you can do it :D

need to pay attention to moves 2 zombies plus move one is 3 actions, you did 4. and you need to look for as many items as you canat the start to make it easy to play later.

Also, movement also only occurs before combat. You cannot fight and then move

So you have to wait until you draw spawn cards in the hellhole spawn zones in order to remove spawn zones on either sides of the board. If you do spawn a necro on either side of the board you have to go through the deck agin?

While I really like the additional Vault artifacts (mostly for the reason you told) I don't like the NPC mechanic. It feels so unthematic.

You’re players don’t start with forged weapons and they don’t start with weapons or armor.

I don't like most of the Special Guest characters. Most of them are way too overpowered and no fun at all to play (especially those who can reach 3 damage with relative ease). But Antha is a very cool character. Would have been nice as a character in Wulfsburg (as a 5th character or instead of the pointless Ariane) or the hero box.

What I don't like about the Troll is that it works exactly like the Wulf Abomination - only better because he can only be killed by Dragonfire (so no Vampiric Crossbow) - and he has 2 activation cards more (4 when compared to the 2 of the Wulf Abomination). To give him "only" 2 activations would give the Wulf Abomination more space to shine. So it's totally outclassed. I guess I would houserule it this way.

I know it's been a while but noticed a little mistake there. Just wanted to make sure I'm actually right... At 21:15, when the necromancer opens the yellow vault door, you're supposed to spawn zombies in all the interior zones of the building since a door has been opened... That would have make it worst since they could all get to you faster through the vaults...

I don't think that players should choose which direction an abomination should go, it should be determined by die roll.

+1 Free Search is not evevn an extra search, so Arnaud is weak off the get go.

+1 Damage should always be the default choice unless reasons.

My group house ruled useless Swordmaster: You can match any melee items together and dual wield them, rolling for 1 weapon at a time because of different to hit ratings and damage ratings.

Reaper is good to gain XP, especially useful if your character has it at blue, just remember your character does have it. Reaper is almost useless as a red skill unlock and by that time you have allies and weapons that will be clearing zones easily.

Lock it down may seem broken, but how do you expect to complete the quest as you cower away in your fortress looking to gear up while zombies are spawning turn after turn and the Necromancer is moving towards his destination?

I'm coming up with a formula to grade Zombicide BP characters based off of their skill tree. I rated each skill on a scale of 1 to 8. +1 Action, +1 Damage, Born Leader, Zombie Link, Regeneration; I've given these an 8. Swordmaster is the worst.
